Home remedies to get rid of moles
Moles can be described as pigmented cells that have accumulated on your skin. These moles appear like dark spots on your skin. Developing in the upper and lower layers of your skin, moles tend to occur on your neck, face, legs, and arms. In rare cases, they occur underneath your nails, the toes and on your scalp. Moles can be of different shapes, colors, and sizes for different people. A mole is usually red, brown, or black in color or in a different variation of these colors. Additionally, while some moles are raised, others are flat. Here are some ways that you can tackle different shapes and sizes of moles at home:
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is the most prefered home remedy for various skin issues. The vinegar has adequate acidity to dry up the mole. It helps in turning the mole into a scab and gradually starting to disappear. All you have to do is place a cotton swab on the mole after dipping it in apple cider vinegar. Use a band-aid to hold the cotton in place for approximately five or six hours. Repeat the process after cleaning the area until the mole starts to turn into a scab.
Baking soda and castor oil
Baking soda and castor oil have a natural way of removing moles. Baking soda turns the mole dry, while castor oil starts the process of healing. These ingredients work in a combination that removes moles but does not leave any marks or scars. For this home remedy, you require 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and two or three drops of castor oil. Additionally, you will need either adhesive tape or just a band-aid. Mix the castor oil and baking soda powder into a paste and apply it in the mole. Let the mixture sit overnight after covering it with a band-aid. Repeat the procedure every night. Additionally, the process will cause inflammation on your skin but will subside after some time.
Banana peels
Banana peels have acids like ascorbic acid and oxalic acid along with various natural enzymes that assist in removing moles. Cover the mole with a tiny piece of banana peel. Make sure that the inside of the peel faces the mole. Hold the peel in place using a bandage or a tape and let it sit for the night. Repeat the process until the mole has disappeared.
Garlic
All you need to do is crush garlic clove into a paste. Leave the paste for the whole night after applying it on the mole and wrap it using a cotton cloth. Continue to do so for a couple of times in a day for three weeks to achieve best results. The repeated use of garlic will show faster results. Applying garlic paste can form scabs and cause the mole to fall off and disappear.
